My Illustrations

"We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents."

-Bob Ross

A Brief Summary

My illustration work is the biggest and most varied portfolio of my work. I use traditional and digital mediums to express my love for drawing. Drawing is one of my favorite ways to practice and create interesting artwork. This collection of pieces allowed me to learn new ways to create and revisit some of my older passions that got me into art in the first place. These illustrations stem across my entire academic career but also shows some of my personal work I created!

"Contronym Colors" Feb-Mar 2025. Procreate
These illustrations were made as my final project to exhibit my work in the school's art gallery! These ten images feature five characters experiencing two different emotions represented by the background color and the flowers around the frame!

"Collegian Graphics" Jan-April 2025. Procreate
These were graphics I made volunteering for Greensboro College's newspaper, The Collegian! I drew graphics surrounding holidays, events happening locally and encouragement for students facing their finals!

"A Man's Emotions" Feb 2025. Procreate
These were the first images made to fit in the series "Contronym Colors" but after further consideration I decided to make this a one off illustration
duology, playing with his face to convey two different emotions.

"The Cocky Air God" Dec 2024. Autodesk Sketchbook
This was an image I created when I was working on one of my art illustrations series. I love the idea of gods watching over artists as they capture a landscape. My favorite part is the sky!

"The Wisdom Saga" Oct 2024. Adobe Photoshop
For this Project, I created an album based off the popular concept musical Epic by Jorge Rivera-Herrans: The Wisdom Saga! I incorporated the five songs into the cover.

"The Asterion Festival" Sept 2024. Adobe Photoshop
For this Project, I created a fake poster around the mythical event of the Minotaur Labyrinth.  I called it the Asterion Festival because that was one of the names the Minotaur was called.

"Logo Project" Aug 2024. Adobe Photoshop
This is my first work I made when I started at Greensboro College. We had to make a new logo for our own businesses or imaginary ones. I like these logos, but I love my original logo just a little more.

"MerMay" May 2024. Pencil and Pen on White Paper and Krita Software
This is another art challenge I completed called MerMay. The challenge usually consists of 30 days of mermaid/ocean theme art but these are my best three.

"DTIYS Challenge for Lord Gris" Aug 2023. Pencil and Pen on White Paper
This image was made in a Do It in Your Style art challenge. A popular Instagram artist LordGris hosted the competition to recreate a character they drew!

"Akaiya" Aug 2023. Pencil and Pen on White Paper
This is my first main character design for Akaiya! Akaiya is an isolated character whose parent went missing, so he hopes to find some evidence in the snowy tundra of his homeland.

"The Boat Princess" July 2023. Digital Illustration using Krita Software
In this picture, I wanted to practice not outlining everything in black and to attempt to play with color some more!

"The Blue Children"  June 2023. Digital Illustrations using Krita Software
This is my first digital art series. It depicts five individuals with blue hair, hands over their mouths or face with a decorative foreground and background.

"Personal Art Collection III" Sept-Jan 2022-2023. Multiple Mediums
My 3rd art collection, also known as an "art dump."

"Worldbuilding Concepts" May-Aug 2022. Pencil and Pen on White Paper
These are more concepts from the beginning of my worldbuilding. I had so much inspiration at the time, and this was the catalyst for me to go forward and finish getting my bachelor's in 2024!

"Still Life Final" April 2022. Pencil on Gray Paper
This was my final assignment before I graduated with my certification in Gaming Design! I had to capture the wrinkles of fabric and a multitude of objects.

"Vehicle Illustration Work" April 2022. Pencil, Pen and Gray tone markers on White Paper
Th illustrations studies that helped me improve on drawing vehicles like planes, cars and trains!

"Cloth Folding Series" April 2022. Pencil on White Paper
These are my illustrations of different ways cloth can fold.

"Animals and Plants Illustration Study" March 2022. Pencil, Pen and Gray tone markers on White Paper
This is another study I did on animals and plants during my time at Forsyth Tech!

"Animation Studies"  Aug-Nov 2021. Prismacolor Blue Pencil on White Paper
These illustrations are from my animation studies I did at Forsyth Tech.

"Personal Art Collection II" May-Jan 2020-2021. Digital Art using Autodesk Sketchbook and Pencil and Paper
These are more drawings I did during the beginning of the covid shutdown. While the shutdown itself was horrible, it allowed me a lot of time to work on my own art.

"Personal Art Collection II" May-Jan 2020-2021. Digital Art using Autodesk Sketchbook and Pencil and Paper
These are more drawings focusing on character design in my early stages of worldbuilding. I LOVE making character designs and weapons this was a very fun time for me.

"Black Lives Matter" June 2020. Pencil and Paper
This was a piece I did in response to the George Floyd murder back in May. Doing this piece left me with feelings of shame, anger, and sadness. I was ashamed I didn't know every name I wrote and there are so many more that couldn't fit on this page and it showed me the reality of educating yourself because people were so ready to waive the police's actions.

"Of Gods and Goddesses" May 2020. Digital Art using Autodesk Sketchbook
These are some early concept art of the gods and goddesses in my worldbuilding project. This marks the beginning of my official worldbuilding journey. I plan on dedicating a page to the project once I have everything mostly completely.

"Personal Art Collection I" Jan-March 2020. Digital Art using Autodesk Sketchbook and Pencil Sketches
These are some early characters art, concept art, art challenges and inspiration art made in-between my classes at UNCG.

"Life Drawing Study" March-Nov 2019. Pencil, Pen and different Color Charcoal
These are my illustrations of different live gesture models from my days at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. These are some my favorite gesture drawings I have ever done!

"A Witch's Materials" January 2019. Adobe Photoshop
These are my some of my first graphic illustrations I made at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We had to make three different patterns using some objects from home.
